Just stumbled across this. You remind me of many of the Doiron's I knew when I lived up west.

Love this truck. Only thing it's missing is an extra foot of cargo space. That colour and canvas look great together.

Thank you! And yes would have loved the long bed, but i had already sold my other truck and the wait would have pushed me passed the summer. And i need my truck for the summer so i made the short bed work. I've found it does pretty well, would have enjoyed the long bed more for camping but this gets the job done. Cheers!

Fits really tight. I got money off so I'm just going to permanently attach it with JB plastic weld putty in the gaps where the 3 tabs should have been. I'm tired of waiting for a good looking grill. See if you can get a discount on it. They break in shipping because they are packaged horribly. Doubt they will break in the truck.

Got my OPT7s today and installed the low beams. Tomorrow morning I will try them out. Definite improvement from the stock lights. We'll see how far they throw.
I will be installing the OPT7s fogs next. Which is the best approach? From above or from below? Not much space from above but I don't know how much I need to remove to get to them from below. Any advice?
I may end up with OPT7s in the fogs and high beams and look for HIDs for the low beams instead. What's the best HID system out there? Are the HIDs much better than the OPT7s for the low beams? Durability? Ease of installation?
Another option is OPT7s for low and high beams and Sylvania Ultras for the fogs, probably easier to install from above than the OPT7s.

    I need help in deciding.

Roof rack, Predator step bars, A.R.E. V-Series truck topper
Had this A.R.E. V-Series truck topper installed today by Suburban Toppers in Denver, CO. $1400.00 and they installed in 40 minutes. Came with the standard options: fabric headliner, front sliding window, sliding side windows, LED 3rd brake light, matching tint with two latches. They included putting weatherstripping on the bottom edges of the topper. I also installed weatherstripping along the edges in between the truck bed and tailgate door. I have the stock Tacoma trifold tonneau for sale for $300, ONLY for anyone in the Colorado area anywhere in between Colorado Springs and Fort Collins, PM me.
