Well we could camp to one huge spot I know and do stuff. Guns won't be able to be shot tho because it's near an army base. But we could cook some stuff.

    But I'm open for anything

    I am booked until November.

If everyone wants to shoot, we could do a range day.

Maybe we should start slowly - either Cabela's or Bass Pro...

In the same boat. But November I'm basically free. Good for a range day too. Well see that Bass Pro just bought Cabela's, looks like it's gonna be Bass Pro

They say they are going to keep Cabela's "out front" - we shall see. Either way, the merger isn't complete until next year, and most companies do not change anything major for several years after a merger.

I am really going to miss Cabela's though... :(

Learn something everyday. I just heard about it so I didn't know the full details. But Bass Pro is more fishing. While Cabela's is hunting

Yes, but Cabela's started as fishing - flys, specifically - back in the '60s.

a lot of bad ass stuff
A mod day sounds good; but so does camping, and a range day. My schedule is never the same two weeks in a row, so what ever day it is I will probably have to request off. We could even do like the Atlanta 4runner group and pick a restaurant/bar/tavern and meet up and hang out. Looking forward to meeting some more of yall.

If it is a range day I know the DNR has some out door ranges through out the state. they are often very basic, but sufficient and better for rifles than indoor ranges. However, I would not suggest going to one of these ranges on the weekends, as it seems that the weekends brings out the stupid in people, and they are usually packed then too. I doubt that to many of us, would be inclined to meet during the week. So that probably rules out the DNR ranges. I'm just thinking.

I'm not against trying to do what ATL 4Runners do, but there isn't a lot of guys in Ga that could commit to that. We could try, I'm fair game for just about anything

You know it. I order most of my fishing stuff online. I hate Bass Pro, Cabela's, REI, Gander Mtn., and all those overpriced places. You can get the same shit on Amazon for way cheaper. I do like Academy, though...they're like the Wal Mart of the sporting goods world.....minus all the meth heads.
