I don't really keep up with the FJ scene, when did they stop making them?

 

Not sure why they stopped. But holy hell did their value jump up when they did. A good capable little vehicle. And the short wheel base got him through some tighter spots much easier than for me.

 

Yea, but still a bitch to see out of. So many blind spots

 

My wife wanted to get an FJ cuz those are her initials. She is a Toyota gal through and through. When we started dating she drove a Tacoma. Manual trans and 4wd. I was like, "chick you are alright!" She used to snowboard and Tacomas and snowboarding were two things we had in common right off the bat. Back on topic, I haven't driven an FJ but I have heard about the blind spots. That part kinda sucks.

 

Probably their biggest flaw

The wife got a new job making $1000 a week so she was feeling generous.

I have to say the truck is coming along nicely.

 

No she is a socal worker for hospice patients for a private company. She got her masters degree

 

I saw 25 yesterday morning going thru Wildcat Canyon. Not going to lie I am a little worried about how cold it gets in Durango and Farmington lol....

 

Never been there but Durango is on the list of spots I want to check out. I want to ride that steam locomotive up the mountain pass.
