Getting my falken wildpeak p285/70/17 installed tomorrow on mb tko 17x 8.5 4.5 backspace wheels. Bilstein 5100 setting to 2.5". Did some research and as long as i dont offroad I'll be fine. I should ask for caster to be set between 2-3 degrees and 0 camber. Will clear body mount this way and only need minor trimming of front inner fender.

I have 275/70/17 W/ Eibach coils with 1.75 Bilsteins, AAL in the rear. No mud flaps. I rub at full lock. However, I was comparing the 275/70/17's from Firestone to 285's of BFG's and they look a hair bigger.

I currently 265/70. I looked at the 275/70 in person and they are a bit bigger, but I'd regret just not going 285

I put the Toytec boss suspension lift on my 2015 and running 285/70/17's. Set in the front at about 2 3/4" by tightening over what they come from the factory. Lots of trimming (have taken out about 10" of the fender well protection and about the same on the inner part of the fender flare).

Still rubbing the body mounts at the back when doing any off-roading. Not sure about the plastic, yet as I just cut more out yesterday.

Have been in for alignment several times and will probably try one more time before the cutting torch and welder have to be brought out...

Really sucks to have to do all this cutting on a new truck!

Picked up the truck yesterday. Told the mechanic I need at least 2 degrees of caster. It came out great. Didn't have to trim a thing. Just removed the little mud flap in from of the tires held on by 2 10mm bolts. I clear the body mount by about 1/2" at the full lock. So far I have no experienced rubbing anywhere. I only have bilstein shocks on 2.5 and a 1" block at the rear. I guess I got lucky. These tires blow my mind at how quiets they are compared to my old cooper discovers. It's like driving a new truck.

Looks good! Which tires did you go with?

My issues are not with rubbing on the pavement, but when I get off-road. Cut some more plastic yesterday and will likely cut out the front cab body mount next.

The alignment before last had my tires rubbing on flat ground in the parking lot! Especially when backing up. Still not sure where they set the castor at this time, but it doesn't rub as much. Still rubs off road quite a bit, though.

I went with the falken wildpeak at3w after I've heard great reviews from locals. I've only put on about 20 miles on them so far, and are about to get slammed with hurricane Matthew.

Be careful down there! Hope that storm doesn't make too much of a mess! Good luck!
