They just replaced the battery in the key fob again and said it was working fine. So their diagnosis was that the batteries I purchased from Walgreens were bad. It worked fine for a couple days when I replaced the batteries originally so we will see what happens as time progresses. They did however fix the XM so I'm very happy for that.

Also we live outside of Houston down closer to Galveston. The housing down here ranges from closely controlled HOA's to the lawless wild west where people don't care or have to because no HOA. I found a home in a subdivision that is one U shaped street and all of our neighbors seem to take pride in keeping things up so we get the best of both worlds. Its also very wooded so it's quiet.

 

Anybody else looking forward to Lewis Black's new stand up this Friday on comedycentral?

Yeah it's weird how this thread used to be hard to keep up with until the weekend and now it's always slow

Our last hurricane here, we went and bought beer and ice. That was it. Lol

 

Does anyone have a whole house generator? is so what are your thoughts? Last spring we seemed to be losing power every other day for a couple hours a day. Since I work from home my boss was not that happy about it. Have gone back and forth, it is an expensive purchase.
