Serious PPE issues though. That said, I'd have a hard time telling them to cover up...

 

This week has convinced me to bump an air horn and a PA system up on my list of projects. People need to put down their phones and wake up while driving!

Ugh, had to bring my daughter to daycare in Framingham this morning. Took forever, just getting to work now

 

My wife and I were talking about all these clown sightings lately. I am expecting this to turn bad real quick - some stupid teenager is going to try and copycat and "scare someone cause its funny". That person is going to be carrying and blast them away (especially since some of the clowns seem to be wandering around with machetes).

 

Internetting in the middle of the night will label you as child molester... can't go online before 6am, hence that is the earliest wake up call allowed.

Whitman is already issuing statements from the PD about it.

So far in CT, 5 teenage girls have been arrested for making clown threats. 2 were from my town. It certainly put my wife & sister (stop, no jokes as they are two separate people) on edge as they work for the school system. My daughter that goes to a different school system was also a bit stressed. As I get older, I like Halloween less and less. This day and age you never know who's on the other side of the door.

 

I freaking hate clowns and this shit is so stupid. I don't get why people are even doing it the first place. Guess it would maybe help if i read an article about it, but I'd prefer to do as little reading about clowns as possible haha.

Clown problem solved/people dissuaded from doing such sillyness

 

Kid in my town did the same type of thing he certainly regrets it now.

People are so easily influenced by what they find trending on the news they will do anything for a bit of attention. Its pretty sad, to bad we cant convince them to do something productive.

 

What happened to the kid?

 

His parents probably killed him after the school and the PD where done with him. He decided to post a photo on social media with himself in a clown mask saying he would shoot up the place. He wont be going to school in the near future.

 

Hope the kid outgrows that crap. Otherwise, those are they type of people that shouldn't be allowed to reproduce.

 

One can hope that the parents disciplined the kid. It's quite possible that they defended or made an excuse to the behavior. Wife sees it all of the time at the school she works at.

 

Wow. I understand that things go wrong for kids sometimes and they get pissed with the decisions that do not go their way but they need to learn that when those things are said people are going to take it serious these days. They just need to learn how to calm down and relax before reacting.

 

May have nothing to do with the parents too..though in general I believe there is a lack of parenting in this generation

 

social media does not help out at all. kids can post stuff while in the comfort of their own home. Makes stupidity vastly magnified.
