Another jetboil fan here. Mine was bought in 2004 when I was doing insane backpacking. Kicks just as much azz today as it did 12 years ago when new. Still has all original parts too. :D

I just take redbull and skip the coffee. The wife likes that starbucks instant coffee, it's not too bad. That Oxx thing is pretty cool, how big is you inverter? It shows it draws 1450 watts, that's almost as much as a microwave.

I'm also a fan of the aeropress for camping and at home. Super compact and STRONG coffee. Easy to clean.

Curious what other guys do if they have RTT and roof rack and can't use the window rod. Do you deal with it or has anyone come up with a solution?

Better to ask what I have not done.
Go get some steel rod from a hardware store and make a new one that is bent to go around the rack.

I bent the rod till it cleared the roof. But use a bungie and strap it to the rack

I have that same problem with mine, but like @Sacrifice mentioned people on here were saying to use a bungie to strap it open

Tent is on the cap now, I can get the window rod to the hole but not at an angle to get them in to bend them.

I have the same set up. Usually just put one of the rods in and open up all the other windows. That with a little fan seems to do the trick.

How about one of those spring loaded curtain rods to help keep it open.

Tie a nylon string to the window rod hole, then on the other end of the string tie a washer. Run the washer to go in between the antenna pole and the truck, screw in antenna pole to keep it snug. Have used this method since I bought the tent.

I dont have a roof rack, but if I did I probably tie it to spot on the rack.
