Looking to cap my 15 DCSB for future camping/ road trips. As you know, new they are insanely expensive. Found a used one on eBay,but I'm not sure what its worth and can't afford to over pay. 2years old? Leer XL, sliding and removable front glass, no head liner, looks to be in good shape, owner claims to be in great shape, but it does have a "pencil eraser sized chip" out of lower skirt, were it sits on truck bed rails. It's a long drive for me to go get it if I close the deal, any thoughts on value please![IMG][/IMG]

If it's the right color and everything, anything under a $1000 and you should be good.

Depending on how far you have to drive, you also have to factor in gas money. I'd probably go as high as $900.

Is this the one in Ks? I looked at the same one and emailed him and if I wasn't in Texas I would have this one on my truck right now. Offer him that $750-800 and tell him youll drive to him.

Heck ya, I would drive half way if he would meet me haha. $2200 for a new one makes it even more tempting. The worst he can say is no, and then come back with what's your lowest. I would take it in a heart beat for $750-900

Thanks MX355 did you make him a offer that he wouldn't agree to?
Just looking to get any advantage to get the best price possible, since I really can't afford this right now.
This forum cost us more money!

No I didn't even ask on money, I asked if he would be heading towards Texas anytime soon since it was a 10 hr drive for me.

This forum is definitely bad on the wallet. Just shoot him an email saying you have $750 in hand and would he be interested on that deal.

Seems to be a lot more short bed toppers than long bed toppers on the interwebz. Trying to find a long bed for my 2013 DCLB.
