I know there has been a few concerns addressed on here recently, but I have to chime in to say that Jerry did an incredible job of providing customer service to me and I couldn't be happier with the purchase. Mine fit great and its been on now for approximately 2 months and I have no signs of rust or any other issues. The grille is definitely the best "mod" I've made to date followed closely by the clazzio seat covers and the OEM audio plus system.

Well it's Christmas in October at my house. Grille got delivered yesterday. For reference for people who are waiting, I ordered 06/06/16 and delivered 10/03/16. Granted a week of that time was transit from California to North Carolina. My order number was 3450. I do wonder if JLee has shipped any other grilles to NC or is the first one? I know there are no other ones in Wilmington. Planned on installing this weekend but hurricane will probably change that plan.

There will soon be 2 in NC as soon as he gets to shipping the August orders. Honestly, it looks like that Grille was supposed to come to Charlotte NC instead.....

I initially removed my post because I didn't think it was fair to post it before I spoke to Jerry about it privately. He offered me the same solution that he already posted on here. However, I do feel like this issue should have been forecasted prior given Jerry's expertise in metal fabrication. It is disappointing to have this issue less than 3 months after purchasing a $500 grille.

And on a side note, I purchased the grille new. Not sure if I was in the first 10 or not but regardless i was never informed of this potential issue prior to shipping

Dang. I really wanted this grill, but can't chance getting rust for the amount of money the grill cost. :(

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
Yes mild steel will rust if scratched these are made from the same steel car body panels are made from. so its just like your truck if you scratch it to the steel you need to touch it up or rust will form.

Don't they use a shit ton of salt on the roads in MN during the winter? Sorry to break it to you but your entire truck is going to rust.

Eventually, yes that's true but certainly not in 3 months. Especially in 3 months of summer! You're comparing apples to oranges....

So, if I order now, will it be here by Christmas? And rust by March? JK, I just like to stir the pot. I agree with Bulldog, if you didn't want the possibility of rust then you should have stuck with the plastic grille.
My firsts question was legit though, very interested.

I lost track thousands of dollars ago.

I would assume so we don't have very many orders past the ones that are being build now.
