Reminds me of my best friend in college. Everyone called me Big Mac, but since he was only 5'2 they all called him Shortstack. He definitely developed a Napoleon complex.

Rumors are running amuck in our district about this clown crap. Each of our schools has had meetings to discuss the issue, at the high school its was a more light hearted discussion but the kids at the lower levels are certainly freaked about this.

That seems like excessive switches but I'm a mechanical engineer... I'm going with a bussman setup right now, a pre-built one since it'll cost me about the same when all is said and done.

Why a switch for the CB? Does the integrated switch on the CB unit itself not work? Or do you just want to be able to switch it on without fiddling with the volume?

The idea is the bussman gets power when the truck is on ACC, that's the far right "switch" which triggers the main solenoid and provides trigger power to individual accessory switches on the left side between the bussman and each of the higher amp accessories, the low amp accessories won't have dedicated switches, unless like the CB, it's built-in.

I bought mine from Sandman too. In the end I spent just as much betwen buying from him and collecting the parts/tools to install it in a way that's going to satisfy me, as I would have just building my own. If I had to go back and do it again, I'd probably build my whole box from scratch.

I guess it's tough to follow, there's no switch for the CB in this drawing, only the relays have a switch on the trigger side, the CB is only fused.

I run my cb direct regardless because i like to be able to scare people with my PA when the truck is off. I don't think I'm going to run a relay to the bussman to trigger on/off with acc power - I would rather be able to turn the lights on/off even with the truck off.

That's how I had mine set up. My reasons were simply that I didn't want to tie into the existing truck wiring if I didn't have to, as it greatly simplified things.

Side note, I bit the bullet today and bought the first real mod for the new truck. Toyota is doing a stop sale on the 2017 Pro grille since everyone and their mother is buying them. A parts guy from a dealership in WA has 5 arriving next week, so I put my name in for one. It's probably $50 more than the bottom figure I've seen them sold for online, but nowhere can get them anymore. Who knows if Toyota will re-release them or keep them close to the vest. The OEM grille is awful, but they're selling for upwards of $150 on Ebay, so that will work.
