I would, but I'm busy after work today.

Gotta go get meat and food for camping this weekend (Fri - Sun), then I'm gonna go help my buddy pack/move out of his place.

Lol yes it's a 4Runner with a 01-04 Tacoma front clip. I really wanted a 01-04 DC Taco, but my wife said I needed to get a 4Runner. I had to listen to my wife. Happy wife, Happy Life!

Gonna be heading back down to Takhlakh Lake / Council Lake area. Might end up staying up @ Babyshoe Ridge again, depending on how the Council Lake camp looks.

HOAs can go blow goats. They charge money to make rules for you to live where you already pay money for the house and utilities. Screw that dookie.

So I've had the dakars in for a week now and at first they were quiet but not anymore. Damn they make noise! Time to grease them and find some sort of rubber material to wedge in there.

from the big squeaky dakars thread... they use this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00DS07U0...lid=2KGUDUL886CG0&coliid=I372KFDD984UGZ&psc=1

I just spray mine with white lithium grease every once in a while and not worrying about it much.

I'm not sure if mine squeak or not, I'm too distracted by my wicked front end squeaks. I'm pretty sure my uniballs are toast after 20k or so miles. LCA bushings too.

What kind of uniballs are they? My Icons get a wicked squeek and i just go in there with a plastic scribe and you wouldn't believe the gunk I dig out of there. I make sure to drive up on a ramp and articulate them to get everything I can out and after I clean them they are usually good for 6 months or so. I did try to lube them with Tri-Flow afterward last time and that just magnetized them to dust and dirt so they are squeeking again after about a month. Just need to get back in there and clean them out again. I have about 28k on them for what it's worth.

Total chaos uppers. "These uniball's also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise." I think the PTFE may have worn out? Going to inspect them this weekend.

From what I've been told it's the PTFE against the dust/dirt that causes the sqeeking, I would say trying cleaning them out with something softer and see if it helps at least

I want the flex from the unibal, but why I'm leaning towards the LR ones. With all the weather and mud a sealed ballpoint makes more sense in the pnw

Does it squeak when you turn the wheel side to side? If so then that's completely normal just have to clean them out with some simple green
