    Sometimes you just need to tell someone theyre being or just are fucking stupid. Theres no other way to express it. But they're to stupid to realize that. Like the kid that showed up 2 hours before a training for some OT without checking with anyone, I just looked at him and said "Yeah, you're pretty fucking stupid for not checking with Gil (our boss)", who then told the kid he was only getting paid the 4 hours of training

    That's what I miss about being a freight dock supervisor back in the day.

    Which was also the day in which we would take beer orders down the whole dock before the end of shift and party in the break room with the managers playing pool and pinball until everyone drove home drunk.

    Those days.

    Agreed. Coworker of mine just moved out to somewhere with more land (up 4, cant remember the name), same commute versus Vacaville where he was before, says he loves it soooo much more, on about 1 acre IIRC. That's my plan someday!
