you may have to chop back a little more depending on how much you cut off for the CMC. but with that much caster are you positive its rubbing on the CMC plate area and not the hub of plastic from the fender lining in the front? mine rubs ever so slightly to where I can definitely hear it but in all reality its just barely touching... there's one other option as its not highly recommended but you can weld little plates or knobs on the knuckles where the full lock knuckles hit and add some to it creating a less sharp full lock preventing the rubbing... like I said not recommended but its bee done to prevent catastrophic damages at high speeds...

Ya I cut fully back leaving 1/16 to 1/8 inch before bushing hole. I see it rubbing cab mount bc after welding plate back on I spray painted black and see the paint wearing away

that's odd... only thing I can think of is maybe your tire is too tall... that's a tire size im not too familiar with for rubbing as most of the guys on here have the 285/70/17 issues with rubbing but the cmc usually does the trick... hopefully someone else chimes in on here with first hand experience with that tire size/set up.

I think @LostSherpa is running a full OME lift with a similar tire size. Maybe he could offer some input?

Just did a Cab Mount Chop 3 weeks ago and I still get rubbing on the plastic over the pinch well under hard compression. Will be cutting the plastic along with grinding the pitch weld down. Fronts are set at 2.25" on fox 2.5 C/O. Im running 285/75/16 BFG KO2 (32.8" Dia.) on FN countersteer wheels w/ 4.5" back spacing with all-pro uca and camber at 2.4. Your caster should help but are you running spacers and what is your back spacing of your wheel?

Post a pic of your cmc.

I think your 80 series tires are whats causing it to rub.

You have to angle towards the fender side. The cut isn't straight across

Another option is to move your tire slightly forward by adjusting the caster at the top of the UCA. A good alignment shop can do it for you. I had this same issue on 885 coils with 285s and now I rub more in the front, but that's just a fender line trimming fix

His caster is at 3.4 already, should be good. If I had to guess its the wheel offset and width. Most I've seen with the 255/80/17 are on stock wheels or 8" with 0 offset. The SCS extend around 16 mm further out than the 8" w/0 offsets. Even further than stock wheels.

I only got 2.5 inch lift in front and 3 in the back do you think 1/4 inch coil spacers would help in the front?

Yeah I cut back where I removed the entire opening at the end of the body mount. I cut over 1/2" and welded a 1/8" plate back on. See my cut...

You need to cut where I have it marked red. Should be around 6" in over all length... Don't go so close to the frame because the rubbing is at the tip. ;)
