Nah, sounds like OP is keeping the suspension, etc. There is another guy who is gutting the whole truck, repainting it, new suspension, new wheels, etc. Those are the guys that get the "should have bought a base model" comments and rightfully so. Regardless your money, your truck, but expect opinions in a forum filled with fellow truck owners.

Exactly. I bought it because it was the combination of the OR & Limited plus some extras. I didn't have to go through building a truck. Add tires, skids & sliders and it is exactly what I wanted.

It seems as repetitive as the constant bitching about 3rd gens. Everybody loves the pro but hates the price. It's kinda funny to me.

This I agree with. Why buy a pro if it's gonna be completely gutted? Seems like it's defeating the purpose of buying a Pro. BUT, it's their money.

Well honestly for the price you can get a lot more truck, but of course its not stock, nor warrantied/backed 100% by Toyota. And not a lot of constant bitching, bitching yes, but seems to be improving, lets be honest its a new truck, 1st year issues, not much else to discuss as of yet. Time will fix this trend.

I love the price argument. It's the OP's money.

Don't like the price, don't buy one. OP didn't ask for donations.

Exactly. It's only money, not like you can take it with you when you die.

My thoughts exactly. And a little bit of Sport. Plus, the cement color is the greatest color ever. The hickory interior of the Limited was a deal-breaker for me. Awful.

I bought a limited, kept it 3 months and traded it in. After buying it I realized I shoulda bought OR but I wanted leather. The pro came out, I had a chance to buy one so I did. My wife bought a new Lexus IS350F the same week. She's happy with her car, I'm happy with my truck. Screw what anyone thinks. Again, it's only money. Now I wish I could just talk her into letting me drive it.

For sure, put it in S+ (Which utilizes the paddle shift) and she's a bad girl. She had a 13' IS350, went in for service and traded the damn thing in. She looked at a RC350F after she did the deal and kinda regretted the IS purchase.

    Sexy!

I wouldn't get a pro and do what that guy is doing, but repainting is what baffles me the most.
