Honestly, I think I would've jumped for it at that price too!

I used Velcro as well. There is a few flat spots on the side that's better suited for sticking. You don't need much if you have decent Velcro.

Thanks. They are pretty bad a$$. Haven't had a chance to test them out in the dark yet. Hitting Ocotillo Wells in a few weeks. Will definitely be doing some nights runs there!

No way! Comments like that make me embarrassed to be putting my pics up. Tacomas are amazing trucks, no matter what gen in my opinion. Be proud to have one and show it off!

True, but I do like the tactile feel of the leather on top and where your fingers pull on the knob and I do rest my hand on it while driving around. Just my opinion, but I like the look
and thickness of the knob vs the cheap vinyl skinny knob that comes on the TRD OR.

Picked my truck up from the dealer, they did do the TSB at least, but nothing about the door seals. Guess I'll be looking up that DIY rubber tubing mod...

However, they also said that they checked the transmission fluid (without me asking, I only said that I had the issues mentioned in the TSB (which I did have)), and that it was 7/8 qt low! I checked it myself soon after buying it due to the posts on TW, and I know that I did the procedure right....so is the dealer lying about doing it or is my tranny now overfilled? Guess I'll be checking it myself again....

Hey guys, I installed my homelink mirror I got from ebay today. Super easy install, might have taken me 5 minutes tops. Mirror is used but in good shape.

I did run into a problem though. Most of these mirrors are version 3. This means if your garage door opener is older than a couple of years your golden. If not you have to get a version 4 and specifically tell the seller you need that. My garage door opener is about a year old and the mirror won't pair with it. I have to get another 30 dollar part called a homelink repeater to make it work.
