Alex Bowman will roll off in 2nd place for the Charlotte race, if and when it happens. This kid doesn't even have a ride for 2017!

 

Weather channel forecast shows 100% chance of rain tomorrow in Charlotte, but 0% chance of rain on Sunday. Fingers crossed they can race sometime this weekend.

 

All Friday activities cancelled. Xfinity race moved to Sunday.

 

There's still a chance the Saturday night race happens - forecast now shows most of the weather out of the area by early evening tomorrow, so we'll see what happens. I just feel bad for the fans that aren't going to be able to attend because of the airport issues this storm has caused.

 

If everything gets bumped to Sunday, I will be VERY tempted to make the drive up for the race. I'm off Monday and it would be tits to grab a Cup race at Charlotte. I've only been to the All-Star Open there. While a 1.5 mile cookie cutter (the original!), that facility is spotless.

 

everyone thought that when toyota entered the fray, now it doesn't bother hardly anybody. I for one would not like to see Hisenese as the sponsor.

 

Turns out Hisense was just trolling NASCAR fans as part of a gorilla ad campaign.

 

Nascar says the rain should be out by 8pm tonight in Charlotte, I don't see it happening

I am watching with the tv on mute and using prn broadcast. Much better. Just don't like the nbc guys.

 

These tires are a joke lol.

 

Tires going to be the top issue today - too many good cars already affected.

 

I've counted 6 or 7 cars so far...

 

Hamlin and Johnson very fortunate with the cautions the way they played out - not only do they have fresher tires, but they were able to stay out longer and if this becomes a fuel strategy race, they have a bit of an advantage...

I need to go buy some lottery tickets - my two least favorite drivers have problems within seconds of each other.

If you only take two tires, better be able to get going on the restart - Dillon just cost a couple other drivers' chances of advancing to the next round.
