No idea on the airbag. Having had #3 done recently for the 1st time, my mechanic said it's not unusual for a 5VZ-FE clutch to go 200k-250k before needing replacement. Mine lasted until 238k, so if you haven't had it done before, that is probably the source of the problem. Don't forget to replace the rear main seal for $40 since you'll already be there.

Hey peeps. Any of y'all have issues with your stock radio shutting off, or turning on intermittently. Mines been doing it sporadically. Today it probably shut off 15 times on the way to school. Only slightly frustrating. I read somewhere awhile ago that maybe it's a wiring issue with one of the connectors in the back. I can't find anything in that though. Suggestions?

 

Mine likes to freeze up and then after 5-10 minutes of the display freezing it reboots curiously it keeps playing audio until the reboot though I can't change channel or volume. Sometimes I manually reboot it.

Seems to happen more often when I have a long distance plotted into the navigation system on a trip.

had this issue with my 2014 after a year. called my dealer they replaced the chip/ SD card and reloaded the software. no issues currently since. they told me this happens from time to time. not sure if you have a GPS unit in your truck.

only recent issue I have been having issues where the Bluetooth link connects to my phone and calls it self. I think its from all the phone updates with iPhone however.

had the same issue call your dealer should be covered under warranty had them fix mine!

 

I've updated the software 3-4 times since I bought the truck and it seems to get worse every time, but I'll check again when I go home today.

 

Ive got the non touch screen one. I suppose I might need to look into upgrading

 

You can't do it unless you have TIS, not EnTune, radio software
