Interesting can't wait to see your pics! I have no need for the seats either, I'll just throw stuff back there. Already got a storage tub to put back there, emergency stuff, jumper cables, a few tools, flashlight/spotlight etc.

Access cab for me! Don't need or want double cab, need long bed. DCLB is too long and costs more. If only the TRD OR 4x4 was offered here in manual and QS color, I would be in truck heaven. If I would have a rare backseat passenger, guess it sucks for them.....:blahblah:

Plenty of room in that comfy bed, and it makes for a quieter ride with the passenger back there. LOL

When we have to chauffeur, I sometimes sit in the back and let my wife drive- I am 6'-4" and 210 lbs. and it is not impossible- just move the front seat up a few notches. Would not want to drive 500 miles like that, but anything under an hour it is really OK. Like you and many others have said, a 6' bed is on the top of the list of needs, and no way I would drive a DCLB- at that point I would buy a full size truck-

Just picked mine up 2 days ago (on order since July) and have already had a cooler and tool box back there. Don't have the seats so there is quite a bit of room in the back. Like the look of it better than the double cab, by a lot.

In Canada in 2016 we could buy the Access cab OR manual Long Box which is what I have. The perfect combo in my opinion. I've never been a fan of double cabs, makes the box size pretty much useless.

Funny thing is they still build it, it's just sent to Canada. As that's exactly what I have! If they're building it anyways why can't the US order it? Seems silly.

It's my commuter, dirt bike hauler, and light duty off road machine... I just didn't want all that extra sheet metal, glass, and lost bed space.

They also build the AC Manual in the Sport but I would want it in OR.

No, the utility option comes with no seats in the back, blacked out grill, mirrors, bumpers and no sliding rear window. Knocks $1700 off the price and didn't want the worthless seats back there anyway.
