Me too!! Hunting trip coming up soon.

Got these on my order as well. They look great. I hope fab is complete. I know awhile ago, they were "coming soon", but were available to order, so I added them.

Taking delivery of my 2017 TRD OR doublecab short bed this Friday or next week and about to pull trigger on a Prinsu rack but with great amount of anxiety about look, fit and function of a Prinsu cabrac with the following scenario:

    • Camper shell ordered is ARE CX HD
    • ARE racks are fixed as they are connected to the internal metal frame of the HD-series shell
Chose the HD shell with ARE rack as it is rated for 550lbs. Intent is to get a RTT in near future and I am tipping scales @ 230lbs.
I am not sure if anyone on the forum has such a setup or something akin to the combination I am thinking....

    QUESTIONS:

    - How many crossbars come standard on the Prinsu cabrac and what is the bar spacing on a 2017 Tacoma DC?

    - Is anyone out there running a mixed rack config with Prinsu cabrac and Yakima/Thule/OEM rack on the shell?

    - Has anyone out there successfully mounted a Prinsu on a shell with anything other than the Yakima/Thule rack system?

    - Has anyone out there mounted longer crossbars to a Prinsu rack? Likely not aesthetically pleasing but I haul a bunch of kayaks/canoes frequently.

    - Any boaters out there that run a Prinsu rack for whitewater kayaks?

Very much appreciate any and all feedback, opinions, input that you guys can offer me on this....

Pics of the ARE CX HD shell and rack are below:

Mine was delivered today and arrived in about 4 weeks. That's pretty good service for a custom item in my book. Now, I've gotta find time to get it installed. :playball:

Dear sir. I have sent you PM's since Feb and have not heard anything back from you. If I have made a mistake somehow or not asked in the right way I Apologize but I have just been asking for replacement hardware for my access cab rack. I lost the original hardware when I moved. This is totally my fault. And I expect to pay for replacements and shipping. I'm just wondering why I haven't heard anything from you since Feb. 19th when you asked for my address. I accept responsibility for posting this in the open forum but as I've said I haven't heard anything since Feb. Once again it's totally my fault that I lost the original hardware and Expect to pay for replacements with shipping as well. I have been really looking forward to installing this rack as it looks head and above the competition @ a much better price. Thankyou sir.

I'm liking the looks of the light you installed. I ordered my rack with a slot for a 30" light, but haven't really researched my options for one yet. Also, what side lights did you use? That is a great idea and the first time I've seen them.

No those mounts are from arb. Zack's are clean I really like them. But it makes the awning sit to low to the point where I would have to take off the side lights.

I've sent you an email. Thank you for your response. I'm looking forward to getting the hardware to mount the rack and possibly get one for my Leer camper shell.
