    Guys-

I bought a 02 Tacoma a few weeks ago- total mall crawler- and have added the OME Suspension with 883 coils up front and Dakar leaf spring with the AAL in the back, and UCA's up front. I already installed the CV drop kit for the front, and have a question about the main drive shaft.

It looks like I need to do something to get the main drive shaft angle decreased and wanted to get some advice on what to get here.

I'm thinking the bracket from Street Tacos, but wanted to make sure.

By the way- wheels and tires get installed on Monday... 33" Hercules MT's and American Racing wheels.

Angled axle shims will fix it. Are you getting any vibs as is?

And dear god man. Something very wrong with those wheels on a trd taco.

This. Shims are the best solution with the double cardan style rear driveshaft.

As far as the wheels, yeah... Getting new wheels and tires on Monday- 16" wheels with 33" Hercules M/Ts. When I 'test drove' it, the guy that sold it said "I've never used the 4 wheel drive." WHOA. Right?!?

Do you guys have any recommendations on manufacturer or seller as far as shims go?

Edit: I also have the "axle relocation plate". I was thinking about doing the carrier bearing drop, would that help here?

I didn't go the axle shim route, I did the 1.5" carrier bearing drop from Streettacos. I'm lifted 5" in the rear and no vibs.

You may want to go with the 3° shims, because the CB drop was BTO and took a few weeks. But you may want to also consider for the shims is that you may need new u-bolts, u-bolts are torque-to-yield, so they shouldn't be removed and retorqued.

I found lowering the center support bearing about a 1/2" was just about right to get rid of slight vibs. I used the stock bolts, just added a small stack of washers to lower it.

I did not use an axle shim. Didn't need it actually.
