    I'm almost jellie......

Good looking truck, if it was only a longbed.

I just like the color. The lines and shape of the 3rd gens are not to my taste.

I prefer the shortbed, better for wheeling. Like you, my Taco is pretty new so no need to trade in for many years. I should be ready for a new one near the end of the 3rd gen production.

I'll probably be looking for a Desert Sand DCSB TRDOR or Pro.

It will probably grow on you. I hated the front end of the 12-15 at first, but now it's my favorite style.

I use my LB waaaay too much to go SB and will stay with mine for a very long time. With that said, should they ever put a V8 in a Tacoma..........

I know you're looking for a more aggressive tire, but what else do you want in a tire?

Do you like some tire noise on road?

    Quieter the better?

I think it's going to be mainly what appeals to you more than anything.

The more aggressive you get, the louder they tend to get.

I considered trying a T4R next time for that reason alone.

I don't use the bed much at all, but I do a good bit of towing.

Welcome!! and the ko2 is a great tire but if its going to mostly be a DD I'd say go Falken solely due to the fact they are cheaper and ko2 in 265-65 are e rated which is bit over kill for our trucks. Falkens will give a better ride on the road.

I have coopers and they have been great for me. I have heard mixed reviews on the KO2's but I've also heard some good things. The Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's were one I was going to look into more for a possible next tire. Although I can tell you that Cooper makes a good tire, never had any problem and the road noise isn't too mad. Although not 100% sure about the S/T Maxx's as I have the Discovery A/T's. I would look up more about the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's though. I remember looking at them before and considering them as a next tire choice.
