I say it's time you post up a thread in your local area and see how many TW guys you can take to that dealership to back you up.

    TW meet at the dealership!

    ...^^^... Ditto

I would make sure those are the old plugs & etc. ... then notify dealer & Toyota Corp in CA.

If they took your money and lied about the service ... that is stealing & lying ... get a rope ... the facts can wait .....

But seriously those plug covers should show significant fade of dirt/dust.. that's where you have to grab to pull them out. That's why I do my own shit. I understand there are people who can't do their own maintenance; unfortunately you're just gonna have to double check your shit.. like you're doing. The only time my truck has been to the dealership was to get the headlight assemb. replaced for the DTRL TSB burning melting the lens. I still was hesitant in bringing it in. After getting it back I saw some scratch marks on the bumper, near the light assembly :sigh:. Bastards.

How about pulling a coil pack and checking before everyone gets their panties in a bunch and starts saying they screwed her over. Usually a dealership doesn't do things like that. I'd be more worried about a small shop doing that.

We're any parts billed out in the invoice?

OP should post up on Facebook, maybe it'll go viral and her local news station might do a story on it.

If the plugs are pulled to be checked, then the dirt will get marked. The dealership will then say, yes we did, look at the marks in the dirt.

Also, here in Cali they have to give you the old parts IF you requested them before the work was done. Not sure about your area.

There was a time I trusted my dealership. They have told me things that I can check and have not been true. Maybe I 'm just old or there are a lot of people who cannot tell the difference and the odds are they get away with it.

    **** UPDATE ********
The shop foreman and service manager pulled all plugs in front of me. He doesn't know how his tech did it either without messing up the cover. He was super nice, the shop foreman has been there 20+ years. I said I didn't want to be a complaining customer. He laughed & said I wasn't it was OK. He said he was curious too. He was stumped too. Maybe the 1st tech wore gloves didn't make any mark. The shop foreman used his hands. Thanks to all who helped me & gave suggestions.
Yes sometimes I think being a woman makes it harder but my brothers help, both locally & on TW.

I didn't take pics of plugs just watched him & they all looked brand new super shiny. They pulled my truck right in front & center of the shop big boss work station. They let me come right in. It is a big dealership for VT. When I get internet will posts pics of the cover. So weird!

I still don't see that unless that is dirt caked on(which it kinda looks that way lol). I just did my plugs this weekend, wore gloves and whatever I did I left imprints of my hand on the cover. I mean I eventually cleaned it since Im already taking everything apart. But whatever haha. Pretty careful tech I guess.
