Toyota seems like they are truly trying to work with you. Good for them. I have a Cruze Diesel under warranty, that went into limp mode because the car did not go through a regen to clean out the particulate filter. Basically it's supposed to do it on it's own, and didn't. GM Tried to tell me I needed to pay $320 to have the dealer make the car do it manually and it's not covered under warranty. It took me a week of complaining, and GM wouldn't cover it, even spoke to GM Customer Care. Finally the dealer ate the cost, so I wouldn't blast them on yelp. Seems like Toyota cares about their customers more than GM. I would think that if you had a Colorado with the same issue, there is no way GM would replace it, based on my experience.

Yes, I have always been pleased with them which is why I am a repeat customer. I've had vehicles from GM, Ford and Chrysler also but they always seemed to have something go wrong and it was rarely covered. Just my experience.

The original leer trilogy is awesome but it does not fold all the way against the cab like bakflips do. The new leer trilogy x2t seems to fold all the way back but it just came out so it doesn't look like there's any reviews yet.

I have the Truck cover USA rolling cover. Highly recommend it the only leaking I have is from my tail gate. Its tough, if they want to get in they will but its going to take a while. I can post some pictures if you want.

Hey, so these are the two I had on my phone at the moment. You probably lose about 6x6 inches in the front of the bed. It has one drainage hose in the box and one on each side of the rail so you do have to drill 3 small holes in the bed. It covers the rail system but still totally useable. I think its the toughest non-camper cover.IMG_0158.jpg IMG_0157.jpg

I have the revolver X2. Fit is good and rolls external to bed allowing pretty much full access. I picked this up for security and hauling motorcycles. It leaks at tailgate and by cab. I need to do some seal work. So far I'm pretty happy with it.

I have the factory trifold hard cover on my 2017 (came with it). No complaints as it works great but I do wonder how easily it could be pried open. There is some wiggle room right above the tail gate when it is locked. Anyone else notice this?

I purchased an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 for my 2016 Tacoma in July. It leaks more than I would have expected, especially along the sides. I am a bit surprised it was not manufactured wider and longer, so more of the tops of the side rails and tailgate are covered.

I sent an email to Extang last week and I am awaiting a response.

    I love my BakFlip G2.

I installed it with all the weatherstripping provided and used black RTV silicone to seal the 2 leaks. The leaks were located at the corners of the bed near the cab. Even before the silicone I only got a couple drips in the bed with a crazy amount of rain.

I also went to Home Depot and bought a little weatherstripping to seal up the tailgate. So far so good in that regard also.

I just ordered the Bakflip G2 last night. They had Columbus Day sale for 10% off. Came to about 775 with shipping. I'm looking forward to being able to leave shit in the bed, especially in the winter.

We haven't had much rain here since I bought my truck, but in the rain we've had and in washing my truck I've not seen anything like that sort of leakage.

In looking at BruceH's photo my first thought is to wonder if the rear latches had been clicked down to the second position. If you close the rear gently it (mine at least) tends to lock in the looser position, providing a gap for the tailgate. Pushing down on each corner then locks it down tighter.

I would not purchase an Extang Solid Fold 2.0 until the company develops better seals for the tonneau cover.

Yes, that was the first thing I checked, I made sure it was locked down.

Well that sucks. Is it coming through the gasket or at the fold?
