Didn't even watch the debate Carl. I'm so disillusioned with this whole political scene anymore. I saw on BBC where the commentator said "if this is the best the US can do they are in real trouble" . He was referring to Clinton and Trump. Sad but true:(:annoyed::censored::censored:

    Morning all:
One commentator I saw put it into perspective, this was his opinion: Trump was my 16th choice, Hillary was my 23rd, so it looked like he favored Trump! I think a lot of people are in the same boat, but those are the only two choices! It would be a thrown away vote for Gary Johnson, but he doesn't impress me either!
IMO, 19 trillion in national debt and about 120 trillion in underfunded liabilities is unstainable and someone better fix it and soon! Then there's a FEW other problems that are coming back to haunt us, like N Korea with nukes and the potential for a nuclear Iran. I think things are going to get a lot worse before they get better, I've said it before------I'm glad I'm old!
I'll leave it at that, there are a lot of other things that need fixin, but would get into too political and that's a no no on here!

Welcome to the "Old Geezer" Thread(I use that term proudly as we have all made it this far). Plenty of good folks here just sittin' on the porch drinking a cold one or two. We have a few youngsters that stop in from time to time to check up on us to see how we're doing. Enjoy the thread.

    Hi Sue !

Welcome to a couple of new guys also!

Chicken wasn't the neighbors like I thought, it escaped from another guy on the next road over and is now back in his pen.
Just got finished mowing, hopefully the last one for the year, still need to trim! :(

Just watching the projected path of the hurricane, hope Jim stays safe. I'm sure he will be ok, but never know.

I have to mow this weekend - then the next time it will be to mulch up the leaves. I need to put the new plow blade on the frame, too. These weekends are too much like work. Lynn and I were out chasing the hot air balloon tonight. Ended up landing on the property right next to ours so we had a short ride home!

    Morning all:

New project! Need to figure out a way to attach my deer cart to my mountain bike. :facepalm:Looks like there are several ways to do it, just need to figure out which one will work best.

Saw they are warning SC about the hurricane also, stay safe Sue!

Heading out in a minute on my motorcycle to go see the Blue Angels. Cruise to Treasure Island to find a spot to take some pictures, if it's not zoo like down there.

Thanks Carl. Not supposed to be too bad here. winds 35, gusts to 50 and 4 - 6" of rain. As long as my trees don't fall  I'll be good.

thanks Ken. Not going anywhere... except to feed the stray kitty.

Jim is fine. "Small limbs down and new lake front back yard , But us & the house are 100 % Very Good , Thanks" "Heavy rain we now have lake front but never lost power and the house is good to go ..We are HAPPY!"

Sue, is Jim active on Facebook? I have not talked with him since he left here but I don't see that I can send him a friend request on FB.
