They do have road noise since they're a M/T. I probably should have went with an A/T instead but it's too late now and the wife may kill me if I tell her I'm spending another G on tires. The pro sits 1 inch higher than th OR. I would think they would still fit without rubbing though.

Even though the tire shop it the worst in the world (had 2 tires letters out and 2 letters in when I picked it up, and all 4 of my tire sensors cannot come back on now for some reason. Any help? See my thread please) I like the tires. Didn't realize my MPG was going to tank this much going from 245/75s to 265/75s though.

 

Not enough to pay for you new aftermarket one.

Thanks! I wanted the Holes in grey but the 16" don't fit without grinding the caliper and didn't want the Kumho MT in 17" so I settled for these, I have seen worse caps but ya they are pretty bad.

So many wheels out there and I only like 3 or 4 of them.

All depends on the new aftermarket grill. I've seen the SR grills sell for $225-$250 range which covers many different aftermarket options. I may just out a nice mesh behind my SR grill and be done with it, we'll see.

Proactively swapped out my Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS). Found it was easier to first remove the sensor, then disconnect the electrical connector. Also started on my Icon lift. Got the front done today and will do the rear tomorrow. Just going with provided height (1.5"?) and and AAL in the rear. I did learn a lesson when it comes to removing tie rod ends. I initially was hitting the bolt head to drive it down - had to replace it as that destroys the threads - lesson learned. Once I get the rear done I will take measurements and find some roads to help settle everything before alignment. Running 265/70-17 so nothing to worry about there.

 

What's wrong with the CPS?

 

Finally got pictures, lift completed on Oct 1, Stock off road coils, 5100's front and back, front set .85 with 1/2 spacer dr side 1/4 spacer pas side. New tires next.

 

Love the SR wheels. I think they're the nicest stock Tacoma wheels available.

 

Thanks, I told you we were pretty close in looks. I changed my front grille to the SR type about a month ago, still have stock OR one but the Pro grille is starting to grow on me. I like the SR wheels too!

 

I special ordered my truck and waited about 10 weeks for it. Well worth it even though it sucked lol. Think about debadging it and removing the black vinyl from the doors between the front and back window. Gives it a much cleaner look.
