Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's better.

True. Just like me buying $500 golf clubs doesn't make me a better golfer. Still cheaper than going through the dealer for someone that doesn't know any better. They're worth whatever someone will pay.

I'm probably the noobiest person to ask. There's lots of science around suspension, and lots of internetz dumb. I bought them at a time where I was just sick of half-assing and second-guessing... though I did stop short of clickers.
My valving is stock valving, also.

    So, what is my assessment?
    1. Much better than OME. I mean, with the price, you'd hope so, but thankfully it's an actuality. This doesn't make OME bad or make premium suspension necessary for everyone, but if you are stepping up to this level, your money does work for you when headed into the bush.
    2. With my specific configuration, the front is bouncy on-road. Little repetitive bumps make me feel like a horse-and-buggy. However, I can ram over train tracks undisturbed while spreading my Grey Poupon  Clickers may help with this, or custom valving. It only takes more money. I think DSM will do the valving up-front if you know what you want, for no extra cost. I didn't ask Rebel Offroad (which is who I bought through), but my cost was the best.
    3. Not sure if my application required reservoirs or not. I'd need someone with non-reservoirs to do a test. Note that the mounts can sometimes interfere with armored bumper mounts, you may need to get creative... but it doesn't take much work.
    4. They gave me the tools to adjust preload, but I don't have the capability to make that change. Your typical spring compressor can't fit inside the coils (at least for 700# coils). My height seemed OK and I have about 3 threads showing. You may be different, especially if you have a heavy ARB
