Performance headers/exhaust definitely pair nicely with a blower. More air in, more air out. Not necessary but nice to have if you want to make the most out of it.

Fuel mods are also highly recommended, though I'm not sure which are crucial for this version of the supercharger compared to the first 2 generations of TRD ones (for the 1st gen Tacos). 2 step colder iridium spark plugs are necessary. Better fuel pump might be something to consider, I know it's recommended for the first gens. Supercharger nosecone oil has to be changed out every 30k, full rebuild every +/- 100k.

And filling up with minimum 91 octane fuel of course

wait...let me get this straight. You guys are gonna send via PayPal to one member....so that member would have something like $44,000 to $88,000 of somebody else's money so he can reliably order one or two pallets worth of superchargers. Yeah..no risk in that.

Hope big jarv is ULTRA, ULTRA, ULTRA trustworthy with handling more cash than he has probably ever held in his life just to pull off a group buy. No offense big jarv....but i would never ever consider doing such a deal that way.

There would definitely have to be some kind of legally binding contract involved, and a hitman on standby just in case.

Right now I would say this is just a feeler. Only one person has said they would be willing to do that.

Definitely some logistics that would need to be worked out.

late to the party, working nights, but yeah, having the TRD SC myself, and installed it myself- as per the Toyota warranty card, if it is installed by Toyota you get a 2 year engine warranty or the remainder of your existing powertrain warranty, whichever is longer. If anyone other than a licensed Toyota dealership installs the SC, you get a 12 months parts warranty FROM THE TIME OF PURCHASE, not install.

I believe Magnuson is providing some sort of Warranty with these superchargers, but I've not read up on them at all, no need lol. So of you're dropping 4k on a Magnuson SC, make sure you learn and understand the warranty completely before you blow your engine up or fuck up an install and try to blame someone else.

To those wondering about additional mods needed. The answer is no, you can run the SC with completely stock everything else and still net about 60hp at the crank. Additional mods will only net you more horsepower, and at some point your fuel pump will run out of power to meet the needs all of your additional mods are making. If you look at my build, the mods I'm running now is right about when I'd say you NEED a fuel pump. But if you just want that Toyota reliability with a bump to your passing power, get the SC throw a new intake and exhaust on it, call it a day and you'll love it. Or keep modding peformance stuff to make full size trucks cry.

I don't remember reading that part but I do remember reading that it comes with the 2 step colder spark plugs, which is nice.

They only give you a warranty if it's installed by a new car dealer or an ase certified tech.
Their warranty is based on the original date of your Toyota powertrain warranty.
