    saw a gen 1 TRD Off Road in silver today, that had california plate 84 TRD ... now there's no way a Tacoma is a 1984, so it must have some other meaning... car was nicely maintained, was parked at the carwash/detailers in Scotts Valley, where I brought my Taco for a full primping and hand wax.
