Brother just bought a 2017 Tacoma and he is looking to get the bottom line-x sprayed to help with the salt. Heard this is a good option in order to help maintain.

Anyone in the state you recommend to do a good job?

Also what kind of pricing should he be looking for on something like this?

I wouldn't spray line X. Instead, go with something like fluid film or Amsoil metal protector HD. Eastwood also has rust inhibitor too. My concern with line X is that if there is any void in the coating that lets salt laden moisture in, it could get trapped resulting in a favorable environment for growth.

I believe there are a few. There actually was a meet in CT a few weeks ago at a members house and he sprayed fluid film for a few guys. I use Amsoil and apply in the driveway. Ask in the New England BS thread, some of those guys know of a few places.

Hey man as mentioned in the old thread, you don't want to linex your moving parts under there. A lot of line-x dealers do undercoating as well, my krown dealer is also a line-x dealer. You can DIY as I did before finding out a krown dealer was near me with fluid film, 2-3 cans on Amazon with a spray gun/cap nozzle and go to town in the driveway, or he can locate a krown provider, ziebert, etc. and pay for them to do all that and the inside of the door panels, etc. Mine cost $130 for the first one, about $30-50 for some cans of fluid film and spray nozzle. As long as he treats it and does undercarriage washes through the winter months should be fine.
