P are passenger rated and not LT. Often much more lightly built than the LT versions. Cooper used to sell the P, LT C, and LT E of the AT3, but only C and E are listed now for the tire size I listed. The P series had a shallower tread depth than the LT versions. The P versus LT are not really an issue on a light duty vehicle like this on the road, but the differences are a consideration, just like the additional weight of the LT Cs, etc. For whatever it's worth, my OE Rugged Trail tires were P rated with no issues for the 15K I had them on.

What I was getting at is you can get a low load rating from the falkens, compared to the other brands that only offer c load and above on the 265/75-16s. C load and above is overkill for these trucks. I just got away from c load duratracs.

Thanks everyone, clear as mud now.....lol

I'm not convinced the Michelin's will get me out of the snow. Anybody have snow experience with them? how do they perform in 6 inches..... The Falkens tread looks more aggressive but i am concerned about the tread wear issues....

I have driven in many bad snow storms and there was only one time I found Michelin LTX's MS (which is a highway tire) to be okay but that was when there was over a foot and a half snow on the highway. I would assume the AT2's would be better in deep snow. Yes they are the most boring looking tire you can buy however they are superior in the rain, snow and most conditions a general consumer would use them in. If you are planning to do real off roading or forging trails with 3 foot of snow...look elsewhere.

The falkens come with a 60k mile warranty. I rotate mine every 5k miles.

Ive had a few times Ive driven through snow and sleet. Nothing deep. So far they were great. No sliding or spinning. One was going over a mountian in snow/sleet with about an 1" on the road. Literally drove like it was dry to wet pavement.
