Any 2nd Gens running the 34 x 10.5 x 17 KO2

I'm surprised it's so close to the UCA , my 275's have more clearance but that could be because I have the LR UCAs and yours look to be stock

Thanks man. I wish i had gotten them sooner. Everything is stock except for the top plate spacer. The new tires are so much smoother riding too. The old ones must have been out of balance. I was pretty sure that the uca was going to touch. Lucky.

 

I'm definitely getting these tires next , my mechanic has them in this size on his Dodge and really likes them plus by law I need a snowflake rated tire for winter

 

Glad to have been the test mule for this one. Really didn't want to buy rims. I like these ones.

 

I'm sure I'm overlooking it somewhere else in the thread, but what did the old tires measure in the comparison?

The 275s were 31.5" the 34s are 33"

 

Just to update, there has been some rubbing. UCA at full lock and on the mudflap. The mudflap rubbing is so minor that im not even taking them off. Its cosmetic.

Are you travelling outside of BC to have that requirement? Because M+S rating with 3.5 mm of tread is sufficient as far as legality is concerned in BC.

Now practically speaking, that's a different matter, and I'll agree that a snowflake rated A/T is a bare minimum on most BC roads in the winter.

 

Ontario and Quebec recently require by law winter tires during winter months.

I'm very very close to pulling the trigger on these. @teamfast and I talked about this the other day via PM. I have a 3" Icon extended travel lift with the Icon UCAs and Darkar leaf pack in the rear. I think this will be the PERFECT size tire for me. The only thing I'd be worried about is what happens when you stuff them up into the wheel well. I guess there's only one way to find out though...

 

Just about to pull the trigger on a set of these. Going to put them on Factory 2017 4Runner wheels (the silver and black gear looking ones) with spidertrax spacers and hopefully they sit at about the same spot and are at least as tall as my 285/75R16 GoodYear MT/R's on the 16x8 Konig Countersteer Off-Road's. Going to measure the 285's tonight.

@teamfast you say yours measure in at 33"?

 

Just to follow up (since this thread is a year old and I was the last to post) I did end up buying the 34/10.5/17 BFG KO2 tires. They are PERFECT! They don't even come close to rubbing at the cab mount on stock TRD Sport wheels. They only just BARELY graze the mudflap mount location but only at half lock and it's only just barely touching. I've been on multiple offroading excursions with some serious terrain and I've not had an issue with anything. I have a 3" Icon extended travel lift with the Icon UCAs and Darkar leaf pack in the rear and NO wheel spacers.
