Anyone interested in helping me and my buddy lift his jeep next weekend 14-15? Will provide $$, beer, etc. Its a really easy kit, just don't have the floor jack, jack stands, air tools to do it. Would be helping out some service members with a closed auto hobby shop for the next 12 months. Thanks!

Not sure I'm going to stop and check it out. He has had both for a long time but just recently put them up for sale. The trailer disappear a week a go and I thought he should it, but now it's back out there again. I drive by it almost everyday.

WIX is actually owned by purolator now. They absolutely WERE good filters. As for the future, who knows...I fixed everything up and the oil filter made a mess.

How does your truck do towing that? I've always been curious because I've always thought those trailers were heavy for there size. I've never personally dealt with one its just an assumption based on looking at them.

I just towed it 100 miles. It tows great. Tracks well, etc. it's 1400 lbs. these Hummer trailers are aluminum. Some of those older steel trailers are pushing 2700 lbs. I think the surge brakes are even working. I didn't feel it pushing at all. Of course, once I get home, I'll do a thorough inspection of the braking system.

Oh wow. Didn't know the new ones are aluminum. We have a few steel ones at work so that's all I knew about. Good to know.

If anyone WAS going to the Nissan Titan thing, don't bother. They wouldn't let anyone drive off road because of the rain and it wasn't really an impressive course anyway.

Trailer looks good. Just an FYI, camping is only allowed at Rausch for members that call and let them know they're camping. You're not supposed to just show up and camp. I doubt you'd have a problem, but maybe call them and give them a heads up.

Wish I could help. I won't be around.

Holy shit that's heavy for aluminum, and the steel ones are really heavy.

My 2 quad Aluma trailer is like 500lbs
    Edit: correction it's 475lbs lol

Lol heaven forbid the demo trucks get dirty...

Maybe he should have gone over his truck once in a while. Have you ever owned a nissian? Are you basing your opinion off of one truck? Are you just saying that because you own a Toyota and this is a Toyota forum?

Yea that totally sounds like a problem with nissans, I heard the bolts just fall out of those things. I actually had a buddy who had one and all the wheels fell off after he rotated the tires. POS Nissans
