Sushi, on a warm sunny Friday afternoon in just a few..... Last warm day. Average day time temps drop 30+ degrees starting tomorrow.

Bonfire in back yard tomorrow night! The day will be spent cussing wires.....Gonna (finally) install CB in the 'Yota.

If weather holds out another 2 races today.
A few minor incidents yesterday. Cars bent up but no injuries. That's what we want.
Will drop in from time to time as long as no issues.

Morning all, how are things on the right coast?

 

Good morning, all!

Thank you, Susan. She's doing really good. She very rarely says anything about it. But last night we went to a celebration dinner for a friend, and in the dessert line she looked up and said she misses Jacob. All you can do is hug them and say I know. It will be ok.

 

Up early this morning because I heard the Great Horned Owl that's been hanging around the neighborhood. Just after sun up, it showed up on the water tower behind our property. Just as I got outside with a camera, it's mate showed up. Typical of most raptors, the female is much larger than he male. These are the first pictures with a new camera, so they aren't the best it's capable of, but you can still see the raised ears (that look like horns) that distinguish Great Horned Owls from all other breeds.

Powers out and very gusty wind. 5.65" of rain so far.

We are far enough inland to not see much. Cloudy and 50% chance of rain.

Hope they get it back on soon for you. I see the Charleston guys still have power in their areas this morning, and one's neighbor was robbed while they were gone. I hate thieves!
