You can get it at a parts store. I can't recall the number though. I know it's the same as the climate control lights on the 98-00 taco

    I wouldn't say that you're a terrible truck owner.

I'm just more of an OCD truck owner :D

Nice! Good for you. These trucks are great, and they'll go damn near forever if you take care of them!

id recommend buying a pack of led ones. much nicer.

edit: actually if you havent already done so pick up some 194 leds aswell for the dash. one of the best interior mods you can do imo.

    All the Money I Have
@jubei777 Looking for some additional info regarding the 60,000 mile regular maintenance interval for my 2002 3.4L V6 4x4 5MT extended cab.

    Any thoughts?

    - For the coolant, I'm planning on going OEM.
Awesome choice. Flush well, then fill block first, then rad, then run and let the rad burp the excess air
    - I'm planning on using the OEM oil filter, and synthetic 5W-30 oil. Also going to be installing a Fumoto valve and lock.
    - Diff oil has been replaced recently after regearing. Using Lucas 85W-140, per ECGS recommendation.
I'm running the Lucas 85W-140 as well, great gear oil
    - New tires were installed recently enough to start rotation at next oil change.
    - Currently running a K&N CAI until it gets replaced with a stock air box and snorkel.
Good idea to clean your MAF sensor with the K&N, the oil likes to gum it up. stock air box/snorkel FTMFW
    - How does one know if one is running a non-platinum spark plug? I'm planning on replacing with OEM if they need to be changed.
Change them out anyway, peace of mind
    - Can I run an NLGI-2 grease such as Lucas X-Tra Heavy Duty grease for all of my chassis zerks?
I do, but others recommend a different grease for double cardan joint
    - What are your recommendations for transmission and transfer case oil(s)?
I run Redline MT-90 for trans and its been awesome, and Redline 75W90 for the transfer case
    - What are your recommendations for belts? OEM? I'm using this as somewhat of a baseline service since this is the first major service since I bought the truck and I have no idea if the PO took care of anything more than oil changes.
    OEM belts FTMFW
    - When the owners manual references the 'propeller shaft bolt', are these the bolts connecting the driveshafts to the pinion flanges, or are they specifying the pinion but itself?
They are the four bolts connecting the flanges, good idea to re-torque, I even found I was missing one!

Also a good idea to flush power steering fluid, making sure the screen in the canister isn't plugged with crap

Brake fluid could be flushed if its lookin old

Could also clean throttle body and replace PCV valve

    Thanks in advance, you guys!

    @BDN @Squeaky Penguin @Blackdawg @alee891 @TMFF @Robmonster117 @cynicalrider

    Thanks, fellas!

You're a good dude, Nate! Thanks a ton!

I'm gonna hold off on the transmission and transfer case oil until I get a few more opinions. Seems like those are pretty individual choices, and may be based off of the region they're in and the mileage, etc.

Where do you get your plugs from, btw?

    Thanks again!

I run MT-90 in my trans too and regular Valvoline 75-90 in the t-case although if you felt like it you could put MT-90 in that too (not really important as it only has one synchro)

No problem man, glad to help!

I got my plugs from Toyota, and also ordered new wires from them as well, online. Can't really go wrong with OEM, plus I do all the work myself, so the money I save paying a mech can go toward the best quality parts. At least thats what I tell myself

Nice! I've got a list of stuff to get from the dealer, and I'm gonna add the wires and plugs to it now. Thanks, bud!

First off, Nice truck! Now, when I bought my 02 double cab about 5 years ago, the e-brake didn't work. It turned out to be the little crank lever on the back side of the drums. froze solid. took me longer to unstuck that than do the brake job itself. there should be tons of information on ebrake stuff.
The power steering rack bushings are not that hard, should take no more than an hour or 2.
I got all of my dash lights from superbrightleds.com. they were easy to replace, just make sure to test them before you reassemble, because they can go in backwards and not work.
