I almost jumped. Glad now I didn't as I have '13 and they seem to have issues with the 2013-15

Still very happy with mine! 12+ requires 2 pretty easy modifications to the bumper if you own a grinder.

I want to see some pictures of these bumpers actually being used and no, not just sitting on a pavement pounder, I want to see them smashed into the side of the Escalator in Moab or smacking the bottom of white knuckle hill. All I see is a poor knock off of a bumper that is already made with great quality and care on a bunch of truck in the front yard or walmart parking lot. I am here for the CARNAGE! Anyone have some pics? Thats the only way to truly test them. If they hold up to that kind of abuse other armor does then I suppose all is fair in love and war.

    enough to have fun

@Sub-Zero wheels with his and I will be soon as soon as I pick up my sliders. But I'm also not going to intentionally ram it into things to "test it". I am curious about how strong it will be when I evtually get enough money to buy a winch.

I'd personally dub these bumpers for the light off-roader who doesn't plan on sliding it across rocks, but more for the "Whoops, I fucked up" moment. If I were a serious wheeler who knew would slide over rocks, I'd spend the extra money for a name brand bumper.

Call me a dick but 70% of TW bumpers don't get dirty let alone get rock damage.

Yeah you're definitely right, but IMO that doesn't mean people aren't wheeling their rigs. I would wheel a couple times a month, but the terrain just didn't call for hitting stuff where I live.

The thread is a like watching a train wreck in slow motion. You don't want want to admit your hoping to see a body, but you don't look away either ...

I totally agree, I was just curious if anyone has tested these, intentionally or not.

Jeesh got to page 76 and ran out of interest and patience for this thread.

Anyone know what page actually shows this guy with the bumper?

it's 3/8 steel people. It's going to look exactly the same as any other bumper if you bang it on rocks, I thought we resolved this.

It also uses the same mounting points as most other bumpers

Haha. Including mine! Muddy dirt roads is the extent of "off-roading and wheeling" offered here in South Georgia.

Quality of steel, and quality of welds. Both are questionable on these things, but probably good enough for 90% of users.
