That hill was pretty tough when it was bone dry... Going back down is going to be slick haha I always take the far right line but the far left may be easier, not sure though

 

It will be fun either way. I like muddy hill climbs

 

Guys, just had an 8-5 day in Seattle for Toyota training class. Just walked in the house after 2 hours on the road and in desperate need of a drink. Being new to Bellingham, I don't have any comrades to hit the dive bar with.

Anyone feeling like getting drunk on shitty beer?

Went to Tahuya today for a brief visit to kill some time and check things out. Perfect rainy day brought back many memories of being soaking wet and covered in mud while wheeling/dirt biking there back in high school. Didn't see many folks at all, though I did run into a couple crews with excavators doing some trail work.

 

@northwesttaco maybe they are making it more difficult. Awesome!

 

It's been raining all week here, I'm going to drive around up there tomorrow afternoon I think, see how muddy things are.

I'm curious about the mid Summit trail. I'm wondering to skip it and go around and go directly.to the tripod flats or take it and play around moonrocks/funny rocks and head to Lilly Pond. Idk keep us posted

 

Mainly drinking now - spent the day cleaning the barn/garage.

I think mid summit is on our way to tripod flats, and the hill climb starts about 50 yards in so we can check it.

I go back and forth between wanting 37's and 40's for when I sas in a few years. Personally I think 37's look perfect/proportionate to our trucks size but the functionality of 40's is amazing..
No matter ill want it to ride as low as possible like this

Got the passenger side pinch weld mostly folded over and hit the firewall back, going to do the driver side Tuesday and cut the corners off the cab mounts. So yes I should be going

Bring all the recovery gear you've got since it'll be so wet and muddy. Can never have too much recovery gear

 

I've got a winch with no power and no line. Does that count? Haha

 

Extra weight for more traction. Or maybe spare parts for mine...
