Suspension and tires were the first two things on my list. I run a full Old Man Emu set up and couldn't be happier. Honestly anything from Bilstein 5100's all the way around to a Stage 4 Icon kit will be a huge improvement over stock, just depends on your budget. As far as tires go, I have some 265/70/16 Cooper Discoverer ATP's and love them. They are a great all around tire with great performance on the street and enough off road manners to get you where you are going. You can also go all the way with some KO2s, Duratracs, or ST MAXX, but all depends on how hard you wanna wheel, or lets face it, how cool you wanna look

These two completely transformed my trucks handling in a major way, even for a daily driver they will be worth every penny. After that the sky is the limit.

Also, I am super jealous of you having a 4wd double cab!

 

i would have, except my impulse buy of longer than needed ubolts would have long bottomed out before they tightened my rear end to the leafs... believe me, its on the list of things to do.

 

Yup, as mentioned, its all pop out old, insert new, check to ensure they work before reassembly. also, these are the ones I ordered but I did one extra of each as to have a spare. Sorry for the crap cellphone shot of laptop screen, its the best I got.

Those bulbs wont work very good in the dash. You want the 360 degree ones.

 

got any pix of the 360 vs 120? ive been running them almost a year and have no complaints. not like i can see anything behind the face plate anyway

edit: the place i got them from sell that bulb in 90 and 120 degree. i opted for the 120

 

I don't. but they dont illumate as evenly or as bright and give more noticeable hotspots.

 

Took it out to the property to check on the deer corn, a buddy met me up there and while we were driving on the trail the MF'er roosted me with his truck, got mud inside the cab, couldn't see through the windshield or anything, so we cleaned up the windshield and drove it to his house where he washed the truck for me, he used a foam canon and did a light detail.
So it ended up being a good thing, my truck hasn't been this clean in almost a year.

Pretty cool little toy actually, I need to find out if it's bleach safe but if it is I'll get one to help clean the boat decks.

 

That is pretty cool, looks like it would be great for cleaning the siding of the house if I put a bit of 30 Second cleaner in there.

It would work great for that, the nozzle is adjustable if you want higher water pressure or greater coverage.

 

Well, today I installed a new(used) alternator from a Jaguar XJ6, so instead of the tiny 60amp stock alt I now have a 120amp alt. This swap was appealing because the Jaguar alternator was also a Denso unit and was a direct fit physically (a bit bigger but still fits the hold downs correctly). I did like @Blackdawg and @Digiratus had suggested and made a conversion harness for it so I can keep my old one as an easy swap if this one were to fail on the trail. It is a super easy job to change out and now I can maintain 14.1-14.8V while my OBA compressors are on which is nice. Overall a very solid increase in power output for a total price of $60. Also shoutout to @Mikerocosms for trying this out so long ago.

Man, I would love to do this! Does it matter what year the alt comes out of? Also, can you give more info or point me to a build thread where that quick disconnect harness is explained, it looks simple but just want to be sure. How much did you pay for yours?
