Anybody know or have inside info if they will have a rebate on the Tacomas in Feb for Norcal or Socal? I think I'm ready to buy but would hate to see a rebate come out next month.

Does anybody remember if rebates came out around this time last year in Cali? Thanks!

just a suggestion..rather than buy New with or without rebate.. try buying 1 or 2 yrs old from someone that doesnt like their vehicle..or from a dealer. You wont take the big hit on depreciation if you buy Used, plus it will still be under FUll factory wrty if there are any probs that need to be fixed. Hope this helps.

Trust me, I was looking for a used on here in Northern California and throught the state. They all want over $23-28k used with no less than 30k miles and no one wants to budge, especially the dealers. They're crazy if they think I'm going to spend $25k on a used Tacoma with 30k miles. I might as well get a new one with zero miles and the payment difference is about $100. Which is doable in my case.

See I'm looking for a DC/LB/4x4/SPORT which is kind of hard to find, at least at the moment even new at the dealers.

i bought mine New..found the one i wanted in Tx..and bought it for $400 over Invoice. I think i went on toyota.com and did a build..then it tells you which dealers have that type of truck already. BTW..any used vehicle selling price is usually marked up $2k+.

I just found one for $300 over in Invoice with all options that I want and the color I want. The only thing Im afraid of is a rebate coming out in Feb. Last year Toyota came out with a rebate of $1500 for Double Cabs only in Socal, not Norcal. Norcal only had $750. But I know that was in the summer time. I can't remember if one came out in early in the year or not.
