    I cleaned my throttle body. I've got an 05 4.0 and that thing was pretty dirty!!! Made a good bit of difference as well. I'd say it's worth doing every 50000 mi or so. I'm pretty anal about that kind of stuff so I'll be doing like all the time! Haha. Anybody had good luck with cold air intakes?

    Waste of money in most people's opinion. Plus.. the 4.0 is really a "cold air intake" from the factory.

    But yes.. cleaning the throttle body is important..and super easy on these engines..

    I had to clean a Saturn's TB once... had to take apart almost half the frickin engine....

    Don't feel dumb. It's an honest question. But.. a question for a different thread :)

    Some cars/trucks benefit greatly from a CAI... ours doesnt. No big deal.

    With toyotas it seems. u have to spend REAL money ton boost performance..IE supercharger.. headers..manifold.. but that is credit to toyota.. having their engines push more from the factory.
