Just a heads-up: If you're looking for a entry level red dot sight, Palmetto State Armory has Bushnell TRS 25 red dots on sale for $70. I've had one on my AR pistol for quite a while and it works quite well. I put it on my shotgun when I was shooting slugs out to 90 yards and it held up no problem.

 

That's crazy just a matter of time until all of CA switches to that system

 

Looks just like the one I just got, so far so good.

I've been trying to complete my Noveske 300BLK for several months. I still can't find the parts in stock.......

 

I picked up another Noveske lower a few years ago, so I want to stick with the same quality. My fault on dragging my feet on building it.

My other one looks like this:

 

What parts are hard to find?

 

I prefer a complete Noveske 300BLK upper, or all the items I need for a Gen III Noveske 300BLK upper build.

 

Very nice and $12 each. Plus the one that came with it was 30 rnd. Magpul as well

Got it. I know JD Machine in San Diego does machining for Noveske. Or at least did the last time I was in there.

 

Anyone using a magnifier with an eotech or other red dot?

Nice keep that in mind. I got an eotech yesterday. My eyes arent the best and need magnification.

 

Get an ACOG or other real magnified optic. The magnifiers work, but not as well as the real thing, and if you shoot with both eyes open using a 8x optic is fine even at close range.

 

Every time someone asks me about a red dot and a magnifier, I steer them toward a quality 1-4x scope instead. I like the Vortex PST myself.

 

Do that. Vortex is good stuff.
