I get 15-23 with my 3" lift and 255/80/17. 15 being city driving. I averaged 23 on flat 55mph roads near Rexburg, ID. Typically getting 18ish on average with mixed freeway/city. Freeway going 60-70mph I average just over 20. I think my mpg went up a little when I added a leer 180 to the bed. I have 2014 TRD Sport 4.0L.

about 17-19 mpg for long drives on the interstate. 2011 DCLB with a Bestop. otherwise bone stock. Full disclosure. I tend to cruise near 80 mph. With the CVT mounted on top of the cab it's a different story. two weeks ago I drove due south 300 miles and drove back the next day. I got over the 20 mph on the way down and 15 on the way back. The tent acts as a sail in a tail wind and a parachute in a headwind. My coworker's new Tundra gets 12.8 in mixed driving, but he has the heaviest foot of anyone I know.

Calculating a 100 mile trip that is all down hill and only highway doesn't mean 22mpg.

I can make my truck get over 30 if I set up the test right.

I got my truck bone stock. And I get 23mpg hwy by cruising 70-75mph. Then got my lift and up 285 tire, I get 15mpg wasnt to happy so I put supercharger. Now I get 16mpg hwy.

Is this more of your infinite wisdom? You certainly like to twist words around, dont you. Where did I ever say going down hill on a 100 mile trip. I consistently got 22 mpgs without 'setting up a test'.

Best I ever got was 21mpg stock, sticking to the highway. Now with e rated tires, fiberglass canopy, sliders, racks and roof tent I pull 16 mpg on the highway. Maybe 17 if I baby it.

He's just trolling threads, I wonder if he knows how much mpg he gets in his truck. I don't think he got long bed to begin with.

Worst tank I ever had worked out to 9mpg, which consisted of lots of stop and go whilst maxing out my payload (maybe plus some).... I have to admit, this truck is more of a piggy than I ever expected, especially coming from a subcompact car.

Yeah, I see he has quite a few trolling comments out there. He probably has a chevy volt.

I average about 12. I can probably make 14 if I really tried.
