    CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP.
so i vacuumed out the truck today... and the front passenger side carpet was a little damp. i pulled some of the trim and plastic around the carpet so i could get under, and it is pretty wet under there. first time I've noticed it. so obviously i think its because i didn't fully seal the holes when i mounted my roof rack. gonna take it off and put more silicone in. but is that where i would notice any water leaks through the roof rack holes? down by the carpet? i figured it would get in, then slowly drip down the frame to the floor.

It was definitely my roof rack. Took it all off, and found I clearly didn't use enough sealant, or the right kind, when I mounted. Water was in the holes and on the bolts. :(
So I re did it with silicone windshield sealant. Hopefully that works.

Just got back home. I've got power and no damage. I also have a full battery, solar panel, and an inverter. Does anyone without need to charge a phone or laptop or something?

Yea you can just put new carpet in over the Bedliner if you sell it. That's my plan for the jeep if I ever decide to get rid of it. Just find some carpet on CL and slap it in.

Pretty easy to do yourself. Took me about 24 hours with about 18 for drying. Started Friday afternoon and finished drying and getting everything installed Monday morning at the asscrack of dawn.

Only downside is I have plugs to spray out my interior and let it drain. Don't think tacomas have that.
