I went general this year for deer and elk since I wasn't sure how my school schedule would work out. Not sure if I will make it out for rifle elk but I had a pretty good season full of close calls on archery. Pretty confident I'll have a big one next September. Did you get anything?

Lol, well thats good to know. I picked out the one toyota with a 2.7l engine.

Haha, well Ill hit you up first if it ever comes to that. Least then I'll know she won't become some highschoolers project. Heck, might just keep both. Have the cruiser for local fishing and hunting trips, and baby T ready for a tow to places like moab.

Wish I had more money :D

No I didn't get my deer yet, still have some ranches to check out, but I'm done hunting BLM land. I don't really need to hunt, I'm really doing it to re-familiarize myself with all of the processes, since it's been about 20 years. Just want to know how to do it all again, so that when the SHTF after the election, regardless of the outcome, I can still provide a sustainable food resource for the family. You know, like riding a bike after not riding one for a long time. Ya know how to do it but you gotta perfect wheelies and bunny hops and shit.....again.;)

I was referring to the 2.7 Chrysler/Jeep series engines. What I was saying was that I wondered if Toyota mimicked their Daimler technology with the tensioners, that's all. I think Toyotas are way more reliable then anything designed by Daimler for the American market, so I'm thinking it's more of an oil passage problem in your block/head, etc. Usually when they rebuild the engines, they should be cleaning those out, but I've seen over the years where it definitely gets skipped to save the rebuilder time. No accusations, I'm just stating my observations in the past.

Gotcha, I don't need to hunt either. I bought a bow 2 years ago just as something to do. Decided to hunt and loved the time I spend outdoors doing it. Heck, I don't even really get bummed about getting nothing . It would be nice to pack a freezer with meat though
