Anyone with a Engine Mounted York Compressor on a 2nd Gen V6?

On Jeeps, they put the York compressor where the A/C unit goes. We had a York setup on our Jeep.

Thanks - I've seen alot of 210 mounts for other rides - I'd love to find someone that has reconfigured a second gen.

I also have a couple of the caddy compressors too... and a High Vol ARB - I would just like to have a REAL COMPRESSOR

Like I said, I'm cheap. Otherwise if I could peel off $1300-$1600 and not cringe, I would order it in a second. - I want the kinda compressor that would require ear muffs!

What would you mount this to? Isn't the York compressor cast iron (heavy). Looks like the timing cover supports some of the factory accessories? Or am I missing something? Seems like you would be stressing the timing cover trying to hang all that weight on it.

 

I guess a bracket would have to be fabbed up. I doubt it's much heavier than a compressor with a decent electric motor on it.

im in the process of getting a sanden a/c compressor for free so im going to try and do this but i have a four cylinder not a v6 we are also going to do it on my friends 98 xj which should be easy because the sanden is found on jeeps
