is that slider welded or bolted?

Welded sliders are meant to be used as intended, bolted no.

Nah, I think we're good here. SquirrelMan decided to create his own thread to keep this one open.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
On one hand, squirrel was being a little bit of a douche. However there is a right for him to tell potential buyers about issues. He just needs to do it the right way and lose the attitude. Full refund is fair.

It's a bolt on. You should see the bolt ons on my jeep. I have had no problems with those. If you look at other bolt on sliders for tacomas they have a different design up front. It elivates this problem.

I'm not upset that he is giving an honest review on the product or his opinion, I'm upset that he made no mention of being unhappy when we corrected the issue mid summer, here it is October and it's all of a sudden a problem, I'm trying to make it right and it's not enough. I don't know what more I could do.

@Squirrelbomb If you're so hung up on the return, keep them and I'll still do the full refund. Sucks because you could still pull them off, resell and make even more money off me but at this point I don't care. Just want the issue resolved.

Yeah I hear ya. I wouldnt rule out the possibility that he has been drinking a little bit today...I know I have :D

Whoa whoa whoa, I glossed over the second part! Don't do it man! That's bad business! He shouldn't get a free set of sliders just because he decided to shit all over a thread...

I know the squeaky wheel gets the grease, but thats giving the squeaky wheel a whole new car!!!

Yeah, this feels like a drunken rage going on here. I havent had any issues with the stuff i have from Mobtown, hell they even went out of thier way to add some extra stuff and powdercoat it. On a related note, on a DCLB your frame WILL FLEX along its entire length. sliders, no sliders, dosent matter. taco frames have lots of twist in them naturally. i noticed this watching another DCLB taco at Raush have massive frame twist. im sure his sliders, which were weld on's, hit the pinch weld too.

They twist and flex on a DCSB too. The frames aren't boxed so they're a little twisty. Good and bad to this. Good for driving comfort on black top, not so much for the trail.

Uhh, fuck that. Don't give the D-Bag that satisfaction. He's like that obnoxious woman who "wants to see the manager" and just bitches a lot and gets her way. You offering the full refund is plenty.

I'm sure I'm not the only one reading this who doesn't know this, but WTF is a pinch weld, and why should I be concerned

It's a weld along the bottom of the truck where two pieces of metal are pinched together and welded. Trucks come from the factory that way.

I never asked for anything. So it's funny that all you people come out of the woodwork and say I'm in the wrong. Stay on your beaches with these sliders and you will be fine.

Pinch weld is the part where the floor pan and side body come together
