There is plenty of space between my head and the speaker. I taped it there and drove around a bit before I did the install.

Had an old Makita LED work light in the garage that I found roadside one day.. but all my tools are Ryobi..

So... bed light... ..opened it up.ran longer wiring..mounted it to the underside of my toolbox.. wired to a waterproof switch from West Marine on the side of the box... bright as shit.. free... and almost hidden completely :)

Edit..forgot to mention.. ran the wiring through the frame rails under the truck to the battery...with a 5A inline fuse

    Added new wheels and tires.
My son got theses cool decals for my truck for my birthday. It definitely makes my truck in my area unique since everyone has the TRD decals and I have the SR5. He got the decals from "Far North by Design"; my hat is off to them and my son for getting it and putting it on my truck.

Washed it and finally put new rubber on it (still had the factory tires from 2012 when my GF bought the truck for me).

Had intended all along to do a lift and wheels/tires when the stocks finally wore out however decided to buy a new home this week as well so instead of lift/wheels/tires I bought a bad ass shop and a set of Toyo's in 265/70R16. Will revisit tires/wheels when these wear out so at my current rate of use, another 4 years.

So here's where my lift/wheel money went, a shop to park the truck in and out of the GF's garage. She gets a new house out of the deal with her own 3 car garage but now I'll have my own man-cave and not get that look for leaving my toys scattered around her garage.

    Shop from back patio-

We have looked at SOOOOO many houses the past 2 months that I was getting to the point of saying F-IT then our realtor texted me and said I had to see this one. He wouldn't tell me anything except he had a walk-through scheduled for 10:00 the next morning so I caught the red-eye back here and was sold without even seeing inside the house. (I hope it's nice, the GF checked it out and was in love while our realtor, my son and I checked out the shop). I wrote the offer on the bar top there in the shop and caught the next flight back to work. Had some midnight negotiation with the seller from the airport in Chicago and sealed the deal at 1:00 in the morning. We close on November 17th, the seller closes on their new house on the 18th and we gave them 4 days after closing to move so will be moving in Thanksgiving week.

Mocked up my birthday present from the GF. Also added Amber tint to the fogs and bought a new drill to finish the job!

    Wiring was a total pain
