I was playing around with a sea-sense fishing rod/tool holder today.
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000F3NYOG/ref=yo_ii_img?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I was going to mount it to the bed rail with these T-slot nuts
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DVTPN7W/ref=ya_st_dp_summary
It looked nicer mounted with bolts but the tonneu did not have clearance to close so it ended up being allot easier to just use a tie down with the bed cleats to hold it in place. Goes on and off in a minute and fits behind the rear seat. Pretty sweet!!

In a couple weeks I'm gonna re-take this pic on the beach instead of in front of this Palo Verde tree:thumbsup::cheers:

When are you planning to do the larger rear tires on the war rig? I saw a first gen a few days ago with that setup.

I'm saving up for a ZF axle to swap in the rear so I can run dual 72 inch agricultural tires just like the Gigahorse. I figure I might as well swap in a set a blown 502 big blocks to power it while im at it.

I actually might do a set of these in 255 85 r16 this spring (all 4!!)

Extreme country tires on your stock OR rims. Your truck definitely appears to have the room to fit 33s

It's lifted about 2.75"s over stock so they should fit. I was holding off because I really don't want to re-gear just to pull the trailer with a 33" tire, but the little 3.5 has been pulling the trailer better than expected so I think I'll be allrigt. I'm still going to hold off untill after our high milage trips this fall/winter. I actually like the stock OR wheels allot. Not sure why everybody's in such a hurry to get rid of them but to each their own. I think it's because they have the shiny polished bits and I'm the only person that likes the chrome grill and trim.

I refuse to debadge my truck. Proud that she's a Tacoma. I want to add a tailgate inlay.

    This is super nice
    $_1.jpg
    But costs 150.

Seems pricey for a badge. I may do the plain chrome instead.

That is nice and I actually got it for free...sorta... my truck came with the plain Chrome tailgate inserts but after about 2 months a couple of the letters started to fall out. When I had the vibrating Hood fixed I told the dealer about the tailgate badging falling out and they completely replaced them with the upgraded chrome. I say sorta because I initially didn't want it on there but it was one of those stupid non-negotiable dealer add-ons and I ended up liking it.

Haahaa, I caught the license plate.. Couldn't ya get NCC 1701 ? Or did ya want the "D" suffix? Cool setup. I plan to do the SSO winch bumper also

Edit: Duhhh, I got it. The "D" was for next gen :)

Yeah I originally wanted NCC1701 for the full naval construction contact but that was already taken. The 1701D is my favorite but NCC171D would surpase the max allowable figures for an AZ plate.

I finally got it back from SSO but will be out of town a few weeks. Hoping to install at the end of the month!

Got everything lined up, cut, installed and functioning properly! I'm very very pleased!!!!! It was a little scary cutting the body on a new truck but it really wasn't so bad. The extra weight caused a little less than a half inch of drop in the front (I went out after and hit some moguls at speed lol) I already corrected it by cranking up a little preload on the ICONs. It wasn't noticeable looking but I'm way too OCD for that nonsense! I like the light bar mounted under the hoop. It gives the tiny hoop some purpose.

Southern Style Offroad slimline hybrid bumper

Smittybilt x20 10k winch with wireless remote

CaliRaised 20" spot single row bar

    Shackles from Amazon

    Orange daystar shackle isolators

I'll post more pics and light output shots tomorrow. I'm still beat from the trip and it's beer thirty!!!

You put in a full days work doing this mod ( based on post times). Nice job. Did you go with the wire or the synthetic rope on the winch?

It did take me about 5 hours of work. I really took my time getting the lines straight with painters tape and cutting the oem bumper. I also mounted everything then decided to take the grill back off to do the wiring.
