Someone talk to me about wheel spacers, are they safe? Will they do anything to my Limited wheels/tires other than move them out slightly? Will it ride any differently?

Patience is key in doing this mod. I'm not really handy so i had my brother help. I just always second guess myself on stuff like this. Got a lot of help on the BHLM threads.

I ordered it through Amazon. Part number is PT278-35100-BH (found it in another thread on TW). Install was just removing five screws, placing the track, and replacing the screws. Five to ten minutes.

Your insert mesh looks fantastic! I have been wanting to do this.
Can you please provide more details about how you attached it, and what part# you ordered?
    Any information is much appreciated.
    Thanks!

Thanks for the info! I am fine with cheapies, especially for the purpose, and thanks for the mounting direction.
What did you wire them too?
Hope you didnt get dumped on to hard by Hurricane Mathew.
    Thanks!

Dude I hear ya on the dirt and black truck thing, although the weekly afternoon at the car wash down the street is therapeutic :)

But this kind of dirty is totally acceptable in my book.

Just went into my dealership for 5000 miles and they rotated the tires, but didn't change the oil. The said it was good until 10000. Any thoughts on this? Apparently that's how it is in the manual but I thought I remembered reading about people getting their oil changed at 5000.

Bullshit. Toyotacare says you can anything you want done in that 2-year period. My dealership is happy to do my oil every 6 months, which is about 2500 miles for me.

Good to know. I'll probably go in at 7500 and ask them to do it then.

Got a warning today on dash "ABS check Anti-lock brake system" then flashes to "BRAKE Check Brake System". This came on last week also. I drove to end of street shut the truck off and waited 15 seconds. Turn back on and the warning came back. Drove to work without any problems. After shutting off at work and then turning it back on the warning didn't come back. Both days it had gotten down to around 45-50 degrees in early morning.
Will be driving to NC in a few weeks so have appoint with dealer to check it, but figure if they can't duplicate it, might be useless. I did check and there are 7 codes in the system pointing to brake actuator as far as I can tell. I left codes for dealer to see.
Anyone else have/ or had this problem/ outcome.
