Awesome. I haven't taken tripod flats yet, is that past mid summit as well or stay on the main FS manastash road then head up to the left?

Sounds good. Is that like the next right after mid summit?

Yeah tripods up the main FS then you take a left just past riders camp right next to manastash camp ground. Its at the end of the 3100 ( i think ) road, entrance is on the left, just up the road they put a gate up. so its the last trail up that way. It was a fun trail, but there's a few tight spots when sliders are needed. A long bed truck would be hard to get around.

I think it was the second right after mid summit. I have the GPS track i can send you.

Need hydro bumps in the rear and wheeler bumps up front. My leaf springs aren't ideal either

Looks amazing! Good thing about rain is it tends to thin out the heard a bit.

I'm fairly active over at Gitout as well; I'll have to see who made the trek.

It's been great, nothing I can complain about at the moment. I've bombed down roads and flexed it on the trails and it just eats shit up. Still don't have enough weight in the front to fully stuff the front tire with the 700lb springs, but that should change in a few months. Bushings and uni balls are holding up great, and make little noise. Re-did my limit straps this weekend and that removed most of my front end noise.

I'll be jumping in the LT game within the next year, I'm considering it's a toss up between AP and TC. I've always been partial to the tubular arms that AP offers

Most people on the forums recommend TC, but AP has redesigned their kit and it's now fully boxed and has the race series style lower uni-ball for the added ground clearance. I've never ran TC, so i can't compare the two, but the AP does what I need it to do.

Def start up mid summit up to the rocks. Then either do the Tripod flats or cut early to do the Shoestring. Depends on time and condition of the tracks. If it's too slick for the rocks then we can hit up shoestring right after and head up to lily pond then loop back

I was sick all weekend and didn't do anything but watch football. Still have no plans for opening day of deer but I have several idea's. Cam and I have a backup plan on private property out on San Juan. Small deer but hey it's meat for the freezer.

roger that, I've been up there 2 or 3 times. Seems like more trails than one could explore in a weekend.
