worked some more on my rear bumper over the weekend. pretty happy with how it turned out. just need to trim it by the flare and cap and it should finally be all done.

This looks really nice. I quite like it. You make the bumper yourself?

And I still love those tailgate lights.

So after reading up on some stuff I'm getting worried I could have a blown head gasket. Cylinder misfire, bubbling in the coolant reservoir... do I assume the worst?

Check your oil. Blown headgasket will most likely show there. Whats your coolant look like coming out of the rad?

Checked the oil yesterday looked just fine, I'll check the coolant in the res when I get out of class.

on my old 4runner the oil looked fine, where it blew it pressurized the coolant system and made it bubble and push out the overflow bottle

Go get a leak down test and have them do it when the engine is cold. Definitive and cheap. Mine ended up being a cracked head but I had the same symptoms, even had a bubbly heater core.

Not important to the issue at hand, had his water pump taken a poop then maybe. The green universal works great in our trucks

Green is just fine as long as you flush out the red. It's not going to hurt anything.

Ordered a leak checker since I didn't want to pay twice as much for a shop to do it. If it's something deep in the engine I should just engine swap. His really ruins my suspension plans.

Mine is 100% green. I think you just have to flush it more often than with the Toyota stuff. I am not going to loose sleep over the color of the coolant in my 20 year old truck.
